A multiple-vehicle accident occurred early Saturday morning in Imesi-Ile, and six people have been confirmed dead.

Agnes Ogungbemi, the FRSC’s spokesperson for the Osun Sector, spoke on behalf of Sector Commander Henry Benemaisia to release this information in a First Information Report (FIR).

The investigation states that the crash happened on Imesi-Ile Hill as a result of a lack of braking and subsequent loss of control.

Both vehicles were commercial trailers, one a red DAF and the other a blue MACK, although none was marked with a license plate.

There were 17 adult males on the road at the time of the accident; 11 of them were hurt in some way.

The article claims that the Imesi-Ile police station is where the recovered things and victims’ property were removed.

Before the FRSC team arrived, the Imesi-Ile Police Division took five bodies to UniOsun Teaching Hospital Osogbo.

The FRSC team used the extricating machine to free the body of a male victim who had been pinned under the truck after he had been killed.
