Posted by Chinedu Ezeudu was arrested for reportedly selling pornographic images and videos of a naked woman on social media. He is from the Ndi Ikpa village Ezinato community in the Awka South Local Government Area of Anambra State.
After his attempts to coerce her into giving him money failed, he is said to have leaked the materials.
The young woman’s naked recordings were allegedly sold by the man for N3,000 to everyone who asked for them.
After the victim filed a report with Mrs. Ify Obinabo’s office as the Commissioner for Women’s Affairs and Children’s Welfare in Anambra State, the police department made an arrest.
Miss Chidinma Ikeanyionwu, the commissioner’s media aide, stated, “The victim said she lost her memory card in March, 2023, and that the suspect later chatted up with her in June, asking for a significant sum of money to not reveal the nude videos.
The suspect threatened to upload the footage to all social media sites if she didn’t pay, but her husband approached her and demanded that she take it down. Before then, he had already made a copy of it.
She claimed the suspect distributed the video widely over social media and even sold copies to those who asked for them.
Ikeanyionwu stated, “When the victim reported the incident to the office of the commissioner for women and social welfare Anambra State, accompanied by Hon Ejike Okechukwu, the suspect was quickly arrested by the Anambra State Police Command.”
She stated that after the investigation was complete, the suspect in police custody would be arraigned before the Children, Sexual, and Gender Based Violence Court in Awka.
