Helen Williams of Lagos, Nigeria, has created history by constructing the longest handmade wig in the world, earning her a spot in the Guinness World Records.
The Guinness World Records Twitter account announced the announcement on Tuesday, November 14.
Helen’s astonishing work measures 351.28 meters (1,152 ft 5 in) in length, as stated in the official Guinness World Records statement.
According to GWR, Helen worked on her project for nearly two million naira (£2,031; $2,493) and 11 days.
The base of the wig was painstakingly crafted from wig-cap netting and black cloth, which was then ingeniously connected to a cycling helmet.
Subsequently, Helen finished the hairpiece using an amazing 6,250 hair clips, 1,000 bundles of hair, 12 cans of hair spray, and 35 tubes of hair adhesive.
