Former Presidential Special Adviser on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina has said that President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sorrow for some of his actions while in office.
On Wednesday, Adesina claimed that it is natural for people to regret some behaviors. He was a guest on a program called “Media Dialogue with Femi Adesina,” hosted by the Association of Veteran Journalists in Osun State.
The president thought he might have done better before leaving office on May 29, according to the former presidential spokesperson.
He said he spoke with President Buhari for two hours and asked him some pressing concerns in the days before he left office.
Nobody alive today doesn’t have something they wish they could go back and change. This was one of my inquiries to the Chief Executive.
Before we left the office, I sat down with him for approximately two hours and asked him every question imaginable. Buhari “felt there were things that could have been done better,” Adesina added.
