Mai Mala Buni, governor of Yobe State, has lamented the loss of Alh. Adamu Fika, the Wazirin Fika, an elder statesman whose passing has left a void in his family, the Fika Emirate, and the State.
On Wednesday, he made the remarks in a statement released by his media adviser, Mamman Mohammed.
We’ve lost a wonderful leader, a wise counselor, a state treasure, and a guy who cared deeply about issues of fairness and social justice.
Gov. Buni lamented that “the death of Alh. Adamu Fika has closed a door of consultation for our government and created a block to borrow from the wealth of experiences of an accomplished technocrat and seasoned administrator.”
I speak for the people of Yobe State when I say, “Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and the Fika Emirate for your loss.
I ask the All-Mighty Allah (SWT) to pardon his sins and allow his soul entry into the blissful paradise of Aljannatur Firdaus.
Gov. Buni hoped that “almighty Allah” would give his loved ones and the people of Fika Emirate “the fortitude to bear this huge and irreplaceable loss.”
According to a previous report by BANKPAWA the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation passed away at the age of 90 and would be buried on Wednesday at 4 p.m. in Kaduna in accordance with Islamic customs.
