Jesse Lingard, formerly of Manchester United, is allegedly close to joining Jordan Henderson, formerly of Liverpool, at Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq.
Since Lingard finished his last season with Nottingham Forest, he has been a free agent.
Over the past few weeks, the 30-year-old trained with DC United and West Ham United.
He is trying out for a roster spot with Saudi Pro League club Al-Ettifaq right now.
90min reports that negotiations for a new deal with Lingard have begun with Al-Ettifaq.
Reportedly, the Saudi club is prepared to offer Lingard a contract if he can demonstrate his fitness at their facilities within the next several weeks.
