Raphael Varane may miss Manchester United’s upcoming Premier League match at Arsenal, according to manager Erik ten Hag.
Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Nottingham Forest saw Varane substituted by Victor Lindelof at halftime.
The Old Trafford coach claimed after the game that he did not know the severity of the Frenchman’s injury.
We didn’t want to put him at risk because he was complaining.
It’s not worth the risk when we have players like Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof available.
“He had complaints, and if it’s really bad I don’t know, we have to wait,” Ten Hag remarked.
