As part of his internal security team, Osun’s governor has hired a well-known Offa warlord

Kwara State native and new Special Assistant on Internal Security Ezekiel Olagoke was appointed by Governor Ademola Adeleke.

A letter from Teslim Igbalaye’s office as Secretary to the State Government (SSG) dated August 9, 2023, confirmed the appointment.

“It is with great pleasure that I share the news that His Excellency, Governor of Osun State. Your appointment as special assistant to the governor (Task Force on Internal Security and Local Areas) was authorized by Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke and will take effect on August 1, 2023.

Please be aware that you will report directly to the Governor’s Special Adviser on Internal Security and Local Areas.

Congratulations on your well-deserved promotion; the State administration is counting on you to use the opportunity to push Osun State forward even further. When he heard about your promotion, he responded, “Please accept my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes.”
