In response to the criticism leveled at President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi, for using the presidential plane to attend a polo match, Atiku Abubakar’s 2023 presidential campaign adviser Daniel Bwala has spoken out.

According to Bwala, Seyi Tinubu earned the presidential position his father held because he toiled for it.

Remember that Seyi got a lot of flak for taking the presidential plane to Kano to see the finals of the Kano International Polo Tournament this year.

It was reported that Seyi Tinubu and his companions arrived in Kano on Sunday about noon on the presidential plane.

Some presidential, Kano State Government, and Kano Polo Club officials reportedly met him at the airport.

After that, members of the Nigeria Police Force and the State Security Service armed with guns escorted him to the Usman Dantata Polo Ground in a fleet of armored vehicles.

Following the conclusion of the two-week tournament and the presentation of prizes to the victors, Seyi Tinubu and his party boarded the waiting presidential jet and flew back to Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Bwala responded to the criticism by saying that those responsible for letting Seyi use the presidential jet should be punished.

To be fair to @Stinubu Seyi Tinubu, he is a member of the first family and has worked enough for this father @officialABAT Tinubu’s presidential position of today, I dare say more than 7 governors combined,” Bwala said on X.

Besides, I do not think Seyi should be struck with wrath like that if all the persons in this government who campaigned against democracy could enjoy the same privileges.

Also, someone higher up in government would have to give him permission to board the plane. Put it into motion. Instead of pointing fingers, let’s put them where they belong.
