The 50th Independence Anniversary and Armed Forces Day celebrations in Bissau, Guinea-Bissau, will feature President Bola Tinubu and other dignitaries from around the world.
According to his media assistant, Tinubu will attend the President Umaro Sissoco Embalo ceremony.
The 50th anniversary of Guinea-Bissau’s independence was celebrated in September, although the official celebrations were scheduled for November 16, 2023.
Tinubu is slated to go back to Nigeria the same day the event concludes. His appearance here follows his appearance at the recent Saudi-Africa meeting, where he lobbied for investment in Nigeria.
