Bwala, Atiku’s adviser, said the N5 billion compromise is complete nonsense

Atiku Abubakar’s advisor Daniel Bwala has called the N5 billion appeasement from the administration of President Bola Tinubu “repeated nonsense.” Abubakar is the 2023 presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

While discussing the organized labor’s clarification of the N5billion palliative to State governments, Bwala made the comment.

He mentioned that the calculated amount of N1,500 per person from the palliative was determined by organized labor.

In a series of tweets, Bwala said that “the organized labour has demystified the so-called 5 billion naira FGN gave to States; first the FGN said it was a palliative and they are now saying it is a loan.”

The so-called five billion naira breaks down to about N1,500 per individual, according to the figures of organized labor.

“What is the going rate for groceries at the store? Refreshed idiocy.”

To mitigate the negative effects of the subsidy cut, the federal government said it will distribute N5 billion as a palliative measure.
