Compassionate Care: Zulum: No government can feed its citizens

Posted by

Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum has stated that no government can feed all of its citizens.

This was said by the governor on Monday when he oversaw the delivery of food to 18,000 families in the Damboa Local Government Area.

To mitigate the impact of the subsidy reduction, Zulum said his administration has prioritized helping the most disadvantaged residents of the state.

Please keep in mind that it is impossible for any level of government to supply food to its citizens, whether it be federal, state, or municipal.

As a result, “we have selected the most vulnerable persons across all local governments to help cushion the effect of hardship,” he explained. “Gwoza and Damboa in southern Borno are greatly affected by food shortage, and in Northern part, almost all the LGAs are experiencing food shortage, except for Kaga, Magumeri, and Gubio.”
