After Saturday’s game against Manchester United, Taiwo Awoniyi became the first player in Nottingham Forest history to score in seven straight Premier League games.

In only the second minute of play at Old Trafford, Awoniyi gave Forest the lead.

After picking up the ball within his own half, the Nigerian international broke free on goal and calmly slotted it past Andre Onana.

The 26-year-old is now the third African player (after Emmanuel Adebayor and Mohamed Salah) to score in seven straight Premier League games.

Willy Bolly scored Nottingham Forest’s second goal.

With a late comeback, Manchester United prevailed 3-2.

Manchester United’s Christian Eriksen, Casemiro, and Bruno Fernandes all scored for the team.
