#1. Africa London Nagasaki Scholarship 2023

African students who want to get a master’s degree in another country can apply for this scholarship. Students who want to get their master’s degrees are given scholarships.
Scholarships will help students get their master’s degrees in health-related fields like tropical medicine, engineering, or any other field related to health.
Those who win scholarships will also get up to $50,000 in cash to pay for tuition, travel, food, etc.

Also, only people who meet the criteria for the scholarship will be considered.


Candidates for a scholarship at the School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health in Nagasaki must:

  • Be of African nationality and usually live in sub-Saharan Africa, speak English well, have an MB ChB or an equivalent medical degree from a recognized university, and have worked in a hospital for at least two years after graduating.

Application Process

Step 1: Choose the course

Find an MSc course at LSHTM or TMGH that you’d like to take, but don’t apply to the school.

Step 2: Check to see if you’re eligible

Make sure you can get the ALN Scholarship and MSc course. Note that people who want to work at TMGH must have a medical qualification.

Step 3: Register with ALN
Sign up for ALN to make an account. Before you can apply, you need to have an account.

Step 4: Send an application to ALN
Sign in, and in the header, click “Start application.” Fill out the application form and send it in by Friday, August 31, 2018. At this point, you don’t need any supporting documents.

Step 5: Applicants are chosen
A committee will look at the applications and offer scholarships to four people by the end of February 2019.

Step 6: Apply for an MSc
Successful candidates have until March 31, 2019, to apply for the MSc course at the given university.

#2. Beit Trust Postgraduate Scholarships

In some African countries, you can get a scholarship to graduate school in 2023. Some of the countries that can join the scholarship.

  • Zimbabwe
  • Ghana
  • Malawi

Only people from these three African countries can get a scholarship. Applicants for a scholarship must be younger than 31 years old (except for those in the medical or legal fields).

There aren’t many resources, and getting a scholarship is hard. Not everyone who is interviewed for a Scholarship will be chosen to get one.
But the interview is a key part of the selection process. If you are asked to an interview, please make sure you can go in person and to the country where you live.

The scholarship will pay for everything you need while you are in school.

#3. The Commonwealth Scholarship

The Commonwealth Scholarship is a highly prestigious award that is given to international students who wish to study in the United Kingdom. This scholarship is only awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional academic merit and who are also committed to contributing to the development of their home country.


To be eligible for a Commonwealth Scholarship, you must:

  • Be a citizen of a Commonwealth country, or have refugee status in a Commonwealth country; and
  • Be permanently resident in a Commonwealth country; and
  • Not hold dual citizenship with another country; and
  • Be available to start your scholarship on 1 October 2023; and
  • Not have previously studied for, or been awarded, a scholarship or fellowship by the CSC or the Government of the United Kingdom.

Application Process:

  • The application process for Commonwealth Scholarships. The deadline for applications is 23:59 (GMT) on 31 March 2023.
  • To apply, you will need to complete an online application form and submit it by the deadline.
  • The form will ask you for personal details, information about your education and employment history, and your reasons for wanting to study in the UK. You will also need to provide details of two referees who can provide academic references for you.

#4. The Fulbright Scholarship

The Fulbright Scholarship is a program of the United States Department of State and is the largest U.S. international scholarship program. It was established to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.

The program provides scholarships for graduate students, young professionals, and artists to study, research, or teach abroad.


In order to be eligible for the Fulbright Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be citizens of countries that participate in the Fulbright Program.
  • You must have completed an undergraduate degree before the start of their grant
  • Be proficient in English
  • The Fulbright Scholarship application process begins with an online application

The deadline for the online application is October 1st.

  • Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended
  • Three letters of recommendation

#5. AKDN Scholarship 2023

Students who need help with money find it hard to pay for their schooling. This grant will help. Africans and people from other countries can get scholarships.
Also, students who want to study in the following countries can’t apply for scholarships.

Also, it’s important to remember that the scholarship only pays for tuition and living expenses. This scholarship doesn’t pay for things like travel or food.
For 50% of the tuition fee, you will have to find a trustworthy person in a high position in your society to act as a guarantor.

Also, people who want to apply for this scholarship must be under 30 years old.

Selection Criteria
Those who want to join the program must meet the following requirements:

  • Excellent academic records.
  • Applicants must show that they have looked into and found money from more than one source.
  • The award funding need is figured out for each student by taking away the total of other grants, loans (if any), parental contributions, and income from work.
    All students are encouraged to try to get help from other sources as well as the Foundation to reduce the amount they need from the Foundation.
  • Admission to a well-known postgraduate college or university.
  • The program gives Master’s degree courses the most attention, but it also looks at applications for PhD studies. ISP funding can go to local/regional universities and distance learning programs as long as the quality of the courses is kept up.
