I can’t believe it: Leboeuf lays out the culprits for Chelsea’s season of failure

Frank Leboeuf, a former Chelsea defender, has said that the club’s problems this season can be traced back to poor personnel decisions.

Leboeuf has voiced his displeasure with the current state of the club and its inability to attract star players.

The former France international pushed Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly to make immediate changes to the club in an interview with Casinos En Ligne.

“Top players won’t come to Chelsea because the club has fallen,” Leboeuf added. It’s incredible how far the club has progressed in just two years since their Champions League victory.

It makes me sick to my stomach. There’s nothing in particular that I have against Todd Boehly, but if things don’t change soon, the club will die.

Those in charge of hiring are primarily to fault, in my opinion. It’s fine to sign dedicated young players to extended contracts, but the board needs to remember to keep the club well-rounded.

As a result of their recent home loss to Aston Villa by the score of 1-0, Chelsea is now in the lower half of the Premier League table.
