Lightning strikes Tansi International College in Anambra, killing three pupils. Obi’s response

A secondary school in Anambra State, Nigeria, was hit by a natural disaster over the weekend, and Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate Peter Obi has responded.

Around nine Tansi International College students were reportedly struck by lightning on Saturday during a downpour.

Three pupils were killed, while the remainder are claimed to be improving under medical care.

“I am deeply troubled by the tragic natural disaster…” Obi used X as a writing surface.

My heart goes out to the campus community and the families of the victims. All those who have lost loved ones may rest in peace, and may those who have been injured recover quickly.
