Liverpool announces 25-man roster for Europa League

Posted by

Adrian was not included in Liverpool’s final Europa League roster of 25 players.

Group E features LASK, Union Saint-Gilloise, and Toulouse for the Reds.

The title favorites led by Jurgen Klopp kick off their season on the road against LASK on Thursday, September 21, and have already submitted their roster to UEFA.

Liverpool can only name 23 players on their List A roster despite being allowed to name 25.

When compared to the Premier League, the Europa League’s quota of 17 foreign players means that someone had to be left out. Third-string keeper Adrian got the axe, as Vitezslav Jaros joined Alisson and Caoimhin Kelleher in the starting lineup.

Liverpool’s complete Europa League roster:

Alisson, Caoimhin Kelleher, and Vitezslav Jaros are our three goalies.

Joe Gomez, Kostas Tsimikas, Ibrahima Konate, Andy Robertson, Joel Matip, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Kostas Tsimikas are the defenders.

Wataru Endo, Thiago Alcantara, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac Allister, Curtis Jones, Ryan Gravenberch, and Bobby Clark all play in the middle of the field.

Ben Doak, Diogo Jota, Cody Gakpo, Luis Diaz, and Darwin Nunez are the forwards.
