Posted by As Manchester United prepared to face Brighton in Saturday’s Premier League match, striker Anthony Martial was seen exiting the club’s training after only four minutes.
Martial reportedly skipped Thursday’s training session at Carrington.
The Frenchman was spotted driving up in his Mercedes G Wagon at 8:55 am, but then leaving at 8:59 am, so it’s safe to assume he didn’t stay long.
No one knows why Martial abruptly stopped showing up to training.
Unfortunately, recent injury problems have hampered the 27-year-old.
For health reasons, Martial was unable to participate in any of Manchester United’s preseason games.
In the first game of the 2023–24 Premier League season, a 1-0 victory over Wolves, the forward returned to the lineup after missing time due to injury.
Since then, Martial has started Man United’s 3 subsequent matches. They lost to Arsenal by a score of 3-1 earlier this month.
During the summer transfer window, Manchester United were open to bids for him because of the uncertainty surrounding his future with the club.
Martial is a year into a two-year contract with Manchester United.
