Muller supported the former Paris Saint-Germain forward in the GOAT argument over Ronaldo in an interview with DAZN.
Who is the greatest of all time? the German asked. Messi is the GOAT in my opinion because he inspires people to say things like, “I go to the stadium because of his elegance,” while also being extremely successful at scoring goals and setting records and winning championships.
“Cristiano is also a strong contender in the stats and titles categories, but Messi is just more understated and refined.”
