According to The Guardian, Mohamed Salah’s lawyer and adviser Rammy Abbas Issa has suggested that the Liverpool winger could be making as much as £1 million per week.
Issa told researchers at HBS that this astronomical number was a “conservative” estimate of what Salah could make in the future.
He also said the Egypt international nearly signed with another club before signing a new three-year deal with Liverpool.
After months of unsuccessful discussions, Salah’s contract was entering its final year, and many were worried he might depart.
However, the Egyptian striker has re-signed with Liverpool and will remain a Red until June 2025.
Issa claims that Salah will earn £1 million each week between his new contract and endorsement deals with other companies.
