The forward will compete against colleague Marcin Bulkan of OGC Nice and Marco Bizot of Brest for the honor.
The two goalkeepers on the team are named Bulkan and Bizot.
Moffi had a fantastic month for Nice, contributing to three goals and an assist over three league games for Les Aiglons.
After a slow start to the season (he scored zero goals in his first three games), the 23-year-old is starting to find his groove in France’s elite division.
Other Nigerians who have won the honor include John Utaka, Vincent Enyeama, and Victor Osimhen.
