Posted by Idowu Owohunwa, the commissioner of police for Lagos State, has stated that Naira Marley and Sam Larry have both denied involvement in the death of Mohbad.
Owohunwa made the announcement while providing an update on the singer’s death.
He let it slip that both Marley and Larry were abroad when Mohbad passed away.
However, the CP confirmed that Mohbad had been physically assaulted by Larry prior to his death.
He stated, “There is proof that neither Naira Marley nor Sam Larry were involved in the murder of Mohbad.
Naira Marley and Sam Larry were not in the nation at the time of the singer’s death, as evidenced by official documents.
However, he conceded that there is technological evidence showing that Sam Larry harassed the singer.
To make up for the two million naira the singer had collected for his mother’s burial but failed to perform at, Sam Larry “admitted to physically assaulting Mohbad.”
