Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned on Monday that Israel’s reaction to strikes from Gaza by the Islamist militant group Hamas would alter the Middle East.
Netanyahu warned authorities from villages in southern Israel, “What Hamas will face will be harsh and terrible.” We are just getting started,” he emphasized.
After Hamas launched attacks on Israel on Saturday, killing over 700 people, Israel retaliated by pounding Gaza with aircraft.
Over two thousand were wounded, and over a hundred Israeli hostages were returned to the Gaza Strip by Hamas terrorists.
However, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Israeli strikes have killed more than 558 Palestinians and injured more than 2,800.
Israel, the European Union, and the United States have all designated Hamas as a terrorist group.
