To intervene in the detention of prominent Isese activist Adegbola Abdulazeez, also known as Talolorun, Prophet Sam Olu Alo, Planter of the Christ Apostolic Church, Adamimogo Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain, Worldwide, has written to the Federal Government, the Kwara State Government, and the Ilorin emirate.
Recall that on August 16 Abdulazeez was taken into custody in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, and then transferred to a police station in Ilorin on suspicion of insulting the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.
Olu Alo pleaded with the authorities to free Abdulazeez in the interest of maintaining calm and avoiding an uprising.
He urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the case in the spirit of true brotherhood, urging the Emir to strike a balance between justice and mercy.
He said that since God is love, Christians and Muslims alike must put down their weapons and try to make peace.
At the President’s and others’ intervention, he also appealed with Talolorun’s attorney to drop the case.
