Posted by In the Edo State local government election held on Saturday, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, won all 18 LGAs.
The state independent electoral commission revealed the results, and Channels Television said PDP won in every single local government area in the state.
On Saturday, all of the state’s municipal governments held their elections.
The PDP wasn’t the only major party to have candidates in the election for ward chairman and councillor positions; the LP and the APC also had candidates.
There has been no official announcement of the election results from either the APC or the LP as of the time this story was written.
