Mauricio Pochettino, manager of Chelsea, has announced that Moises Caicedo and Mykhailo Mudryk will both be available for Saturday’s Premier League match against Burnley.
Romeo Lavia will not play for Chelsea this Saturday against Burnley, as announced by Mauricio Pochettino.
During his Friday press conference, the Argentine updated the media on the status of Carney Chukwuemeka, Ben Chilwell, and Reece James.
Both [Caicdeo and Mudryk] will be playing against Burnley. The decision on whether or not they will start will be made later,” Pochettino added.
Last week, [Chukwuemeka] was almost here with us. He has put in good training hours this week, but I have not made a final decision. I’m 30 minutes late to the press conference and need to check in with the medical personnel after coming straight off the practice field. I sincerely regret that.
Even now, [Lavia] is not functioning. After the international break, he is not going to be ready.”
“It’s difficult because he’s difficult. The medical field is not one in which I specialize. Day-to-day evaluations are required because we do not know how long Chilwell will be out.
James was reportedly “working out with the team.” It’s really bad he can’t play tomorrow, but we’re encouraged by his progress.
