Adewale Adeniyi has been confirmed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to serve as the permanent Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service.
This was announced on Friday by Willie Bassey, Director, Information at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The statement claims that his appointment will begin on October 19, 2023, and that his employment will be governed by the PSR as it currently stands.
The President expected the CG to apply his many years of service to his new role.
Adeniyi succeeded Hammed Ali as Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) in June, as reported by BANKPAWA
