President Tinubu: I Should Be in the Guinness Book of World Records

President Bola Tinubu thinks he deserves to be in the Guinness Book of World Records because of his accomplishments, such as making Lagos State the fifth largest economy in Africa while he was governor.

At a business gathering in Berlin, Tinubu talked about the measures that helped him win over voters in Nigeria.

I’m from the private sector, and I’m one of you. I went to Deloitte, and I know what you’re up against. I was Exxon Mobil’s treasurer. Corporate governance can be defined as whatever you choose, and I’m in it.

“Today, I can proudly beat my chest and proclaim that Lagos State is on the horizon and the fifth-largest economy in Africa is rising from zero.”

“This is the track record that led me to the office of president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

“Nigeria voted for me for reforms, and I started the reforms from day one of my inauguration.”

For example, “I did it without expectation; my inaugural speech disclosed what I would do; therefore, I would strive to find a way to insert myself in the Guinness Book of Records.”
