Robbie Savage, a former midfielder for Blackburn Rovers, believes Chelsea will finish in the top four of the Premier League despite their poor start.
He cautioned Arsenal, though, saying they won’t be champions.
The Blues are currently in 12th place after a 1-3-2 start under new manager Mauricio Pochettino.
However, Savage believes that Pochettino can rescue the situation at Stamford Bridge.
His prediction that Chelsea will finish in the top four with the appointment of Mauricio Pochettino remains unchanged, as he told Planet Sport Bet.
I still expect Chelsea to be in the top four, thanks to the influx of talented newcomers and Pochettino’s proven ability to nurture talent.
With no European competition, Pochettino will benefit greatly from the additional time on the field.
Despite coming so close last season, Savage predicted that Arsenal would not win the title in May.
I still don’t think Arsenal can beat Manchester City in the league, and they just signed Declan Rice.
