On Sunday, November 19, at 2:10 p.m., former First Lady and staunch advocate for mental health, caregiving, and women’s rights, Rosalynn Carter, passed away at her home in Plains, Georgia. She was 96 years old. According to the Carter Center, her passing was “peaceful” and she was with family.
