Salako, Tinubu’s Minister, Advises Young People to Serve Nigeria Before Making Demands

Nigerian Minister of State for Environment and Ecological Management, Kunle Salako recently called on the country’s young people to put their country’s needs before their own.

Salako made these remarks on Sunday during the celebration of Ayetoro-Yewa Day in Ayetoro, Yewa North LG, Ogun State.

A native of Ayetoro, Salako argued that young people in Nigeria should serve their country with dedication no matter where they live.

He argues that young people should not expect to be serviced by Nigeria until they have first served the country.

Salako likened this idea to the work of a farmer who plants seeds and tends to them in order to get a harvest.

He emphasized to the young people that they need to realize that their land will only reward them if they serve it.

My recommendation, especially to the younger generation, is to put the service of our country before of any aspirations you may have of Nigeria. Your land will reward your service to it.

His words.

He guaranteed that the Federal Government, and in particular the Federal Ministry of the Environment, would give Ogun their undivided attention.
