The English team will be without Bukayo Saka for their upcoming matches against Australia and Italy.
After being evaluated by medical staff at St. George’s Park, the Arsenal winger was sent back home.
While the Gunners beat Manchester City 1-0 on Sunday, Saka was away on international duty and hence unable to participate.
After being checked out by the England medical team, though, the 22-year-old was sent back to his Premier League club to finish his recovery there.
As of Tuesday, when Arsenal lost 2-1 to Lens in the Champions League, Saka has been out with an injury.
The winger’s streak of 87 straight Premier League games ended with his benching versus City.
