Six Boko Haram militants were killed by Nigerian forces from ‘Operation Hadin Kai’ North East during a raid on their camp near the Sambisa Forest in Borno State.
On September 7, 2023, at Garin Ba’aba in the Bama Local Government Area of the state, the terrorists were reportedly killed during a fighting patrol led by the soldiers in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and HYBRID forces.
Bama sits in the middle of the Sambisa woodlands and roughly 70 kilometers from Maiduguri.
According to information obtained by BANKPAWA terrorists put up some resistance prior to being engaged and neutralized by the military.
We met their surveillance squad, known as the Murabitun, as we entered their town of Garin Ba’abba within the Sambisa forest, and we immediately naturalized four of them.
“The remaining Boko Haram members began yelling, “Allahu Akhbar, Allahu Akhbar,” and opened fire. “We engaged them in gunfire, and we ended up killing two more terrorists while the rest escaped,” stated a few of the soldiers who took part in the operation.
