The Federal Government Has Started Working On Fixing The Third Mainland Bridge (Photos)

China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Ltd. is helping carry out the regular maintenance operation.

To fix the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State, the Federal Ministry of Works has begun working on it.

According to Jubril Gawat, governor of Lagos State, and Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s media aide, the routine maintenance operation is being carried out in conjunction with the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation Ltd.

On Wednesday, November 22nd, Gawat posted photographs of the ongoing repair work to his social media account along with the following captions:

The Federal Ministry of Works is currently conducting “comprehensive rehabilitation works on the 3rd Mainland Bridge Ramps (Adekunle). CCECC Building Contractors, Inc. So far, everything is going according to plan.

Keep in mind that starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, the Federal Government will be closing all ramps of the Third Mainland Bridge to do maintenance.

Olukorede Keisha, the Federal Controller of Works in Lagos State, signed a statement on Friday that contained this revelation for the Federal Ministry of Works.

According to Keisha, the federal government plans to replace a large portion of the bridge.

Given the foregoing, the message informed drivers that “effective immediately,” all four ramps leading from Adekunle to TMB would be closed simultaneously.
