On Saturday, Jibrin Isah Echocho, the senator who represents the Kogi East Senatorial District, said that the Anyigba Area Command Headquarters’ modern facilities would improve policing in Kogi East.
This was said by Echocho at the opening of the Command Headquarters, which he helped pay for as part of his efforts to reduce the prevalence of violence in the region.
The lawmaker praised the police for their efforts to protect citizens’ lives and property after the structure and equipment were unveiled at a ceremony attended by top security officials, MPs, and traditional rulers.
To emphasize that security is everyone’s duty, the senator said, “the state-of-the-art facility is a testament to his commitment to the security and wellbeing of the community” by being built as part of his budget for the new Anyigba Area Command Headquarters.
He claims that the regional command center will play a pivotal role in coordinating police efforts.
To combat crime and criminality, Echocho continued, “We will continue to invest in security to enable availability of modern equipment.”
“The infrastructure will undoubtedly help the police in making Anyigba and the greater society a healthier and safer place to live,”
