Posted by After his loan at Getafe finishes next year, Manchester United will welcome back Mason Greenwood.
After United announced that Greenwood, then 21 years old, would no longer be playing for them, the LaLiga team temporarily signed him for the current season.
Since the striker’s imprisonment in January 2022, he has not played in a professional football league.
Greenwood, though, will be given a second chance at professional football in Spain.
He will, however, return to Old Trafford in the month of June.
Mason Greenwood is currently on loan at Getafe from Manchester United until June 2024.
“Understand Man United pays more than 50% of salary, just a small part covered by Getafe,” tweeted transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
