Declan Rice, a midfielder for Arsenal, has warned Manchester City that Arsenal will give “absolutely everything” in Sunday’s Premier League matchup.
After Arsenal’s 2-1 loss to Lens on Tuesday in the Champions League, Rice issued the warning.
“We are 10 games into the season, another 50 to go,” Rice remarked in his postgame interview following Arsenal’s Champions League encounter against Lens.
A major game awaits on Sunday, and we’re just getting warmed up and into our groove,” the England international stated.
Every game is crucial, but the one against Man City is especially so. We will, without a doubt, accept this challenge.
The fact that we already played them this season (in the Community Shield) is a positive. On Sunday, we’ll be giving it our all. We’ve got 90 minutes to battle it out; here’s hoping the victor stays on top.
Furthermore, he stated, “We definitely dominated [Lens] in terms of the ball, but both boxes were vital. Two excellent goals were scored by them, and we were unable to penetrate their defense.
Third place Arsenal is only one point behind Premier League leaders Man City.
