Barcelona has cleared Ansu Fati to visit Brighton for a medical examination.
Despite interest from Chelsea and Tottenham, the 20-year-old opted to sign with the Seahawks.
The Spain national team player will be with the Premier League club for the duration of the current campaign.
The next player to join Roberto De Zerbi’s squad will do so on a trial basis with no commitment to buy.
The striker is considered a potential superstar on the international soccer scene.
Last year, Fati made 51 appearances for Barcelona and scored 10 goals.
