Princess Adebowale Adenike Atoyebi, the leader of the women’s wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Oyo North Senatorial District, has passed away.
On Friday, BANKPAWA learned about Atoyebi’s death.
On Thursday morning, she passed away.
Oba Lawal Oyetola Adebowale, Alamodu of Ago-Amodu, passed away a few years before his daughter.
Sharafadeen Alli, a senator representing Oyo South on the APC platform, responded by calling her passing a tragic loss.
Alli eulogized the departed as a selfless leader who put in countless hours for the betterment of Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
In a statement sent by his media adviser, Akeem Abas, the legislator expressed sadness over the loss of a party member.
Upon hearing of the loss of Princess Adebowale Adenike Atoyebi, the APC Women Leader in the Oyo North Senatorial District, he remarked, “It is with heavy hearts that we learn the news of her departure.
Our party and Nigeria’s political system has lost a valuable member with her passing.
